VINTAGE SIZING

Vintage Levi’s are special — and they don’t fit the same way modern jeans do. Over the decades, Levi’s has changed its sizing standards, fabrics, and cuts, which means the size on a vintage tag often doesn’t match what you’re used to wearing today.

Older Levi’s were made with heavier, 100% cotton denim (often shrink-to-fit), higher rises, and more structured silhouettes. On top of that, vanity sizing didn’t exist the way it does now — so a vintage size 32 may measure smaller than a modern size 32.

That’s why we never rely on the tag alone.

Every pair of vintage Levi’s in our shop is individually measured by hand, and we list the actual waist, rise, thigh, and inseam measurements so you know exactly how they’ll fit. Each pair is one-of-a-kind, already broken in, and shaped by time — no two are exactly alike.

We recommend comparing our listed measurements to a pair of jeans you already love for the best fit. If you’re ever unsure, we’re always happy to help you find the right pair.

Buying vintage shouldn’t feel confusing — it should feel intentional, personal, and worth it.
